Hello The Cody fans, welcome to the first edition of The Cody is says in a very long time. I just had to get back on here and blog, especially what has been going on in the UFC as of late. You know being a new daddy, working your ass off, kind of takes you away from the good stuff like posting videos and blogs. But I am here to post a blog just to entertain those of you who still want to read them.
So a couple of weeks ago was perhaps the biggest (by numbers) UFC pay per view in history, in UFC 196. In the main event the UFC golden boy Conor McGregor took on one of The Cody's favorite fighters Nate Diaz and in the co-main event Holly Holm defended her title against The Cody's favorite female fighter, my future wife (sorry Bryan) Miesha Tate. Both fights went totally my way, was very excited. But I am not here talk about the fights themselves, what I really want to talk about is the aftermath. First off, I am also a big fan of McGregor and have a lot of respect for him for taking a fight against arguably his toughest opponent he has ever fought (Fuck you Aldo fans) on short notice way outside his weight class. People have jumped way off his bandwagon and I don't understand why, I mean he stepped up and fought and that is what a real fighter does. I think he will be king at 145 for a very long time. Lightweight maybe in his future, but I do not think Welterweight should be.
But now let's talk about my boy Nate Diaz, perhaps the biggest win of his career. Where does he go from here? I do not think he should get a lightweight title shot (although I wouldn't argue if he did) but I hear that he may get a Welterweight title shot against Lawler. I would LOVE to see that fight, for many years now I have wanted to see Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler rematch, I guess having Nick's little brother fight is as close as we may get to see it. I think it would be a competitive fight, and I think it is something that the fans want to see. I heard that Lawler is supposed to be taking on Woodley, but I don't think Woodley deserves it. I don't know I guess we will see what happens. But I think Nate deserves a big fight regardless. IF he goes back to Lightweight, he should fight Eddie Alvarez or the winner of Ferguson/Khabib (yeah I am not even going to try and spell his last name) I just hope the UFC stops putting Nate Diaz so far under the radar now, give him the respect he deserves and show him that respect in who they give him next.
Now, I want to talk about the after math of the Holm/Tate fight, because I am absolutely disgusted. So Dana White has said that Ronda Rousey will fight Miesha Tate for the Women's bantamweight tittle. Dana White is a complete bitch for that move. And Rousey is a complete and utter pussy ass bitch for accepting the fight. Here is why. The only reason Dana gave Rousey that show was because he truly believes Rousey will defeat Tate (cuz she has twice before) so he can have his golden goose in the lime light again. I don't give a fuck what any one says, if you are a TRUE fighter, and you dominated in your sport for so long and then that one person comes along and kicks your ass. As a fighter, all you want is that rematch. You don't want to fight anyone else until you correct that wrong. Holly Holm didn't just get a fluke knock out of Ronda, she dominated her. Ronda if she was a true champion will say fuck the belt and fight Holm first. So explain this to me, Ronda has said that she didnt want to return until toward the end of the year after the UFC 200 plans fell through. But now, all of sudden Miesha has the belt, Ronda is like "oh yeah I want to fight now" like fuck that walking talking menstrual cycle. She is a fucking pussy, because she knows that Miesha is an easier fight. Now, I love Miesha, like I said future wife here. But she is an easier match up for Ronda than Holm because Miesha is a grappler first. The thing that kept biting Miesha in the ass when she fought Ronda was that Miesha would grapple with Ronda, and Ronda being the judo expert would always use her momentum against her to put her on back. It happened in both fights, and she got armbared. And as much as Miesha has improved, I hate to say it, but I think Ronda would beat her again. Simply because I think Miesha instead of employing the Holly Holm game plan (stay on the outside of Ronda at all times) She will use her instincts and grapple, get thrown over and over, and submitted or lose a decision. I know it, Dana knows it, Ronda knows it. That is why this fight was made and it makes me sick. You are also screwing over a VERY deserving fighter in Amanda Nunes, who should get the next title shot IF you weren't giving Holly a rematch. I am just kind of disgusted by this situation. Ronda you are forever a pussy if you accept this fight, and I don't care if you beat Miesha and go on to regain glory as the most dominant female fighter in MMA history. I will always look at you as a coward who couldn't face her demons, and fight the REAL fight in Holly Holm.
Alright, now that's out of the way. Here are some of my closing thoughts. I am very excited for Nick Diaz's return in August. I really want to see him fight Carlos Condit again, correct that wrong. Or if for some reason Lawler is not the champion any more, fight him. But knowing the UFC, they will probably give him a guy who will just put him on his back over n over like Johnny Hendricks or something. Also, I swear to God if Jon Jones & Chris Weidman do not regain their belts from those AKA bitches, I am going to lose my shit. Cormier is a flash in the pan who needs to get derailed, Luke Rockhold is the luckiest fucking bastard in MMA history (who I still think did NOT beat Jacare). The judges love to screw over fighters who fight Bisping in England huh? Anderson Silva won that fight. The last 3 rounds were his bar none, give me a break. Speaking of Anderson, I really want to see a rematch between him and Vitor Belfort, that will be a hell of a fight. If Georges St. Pierre comes back, PLEASE do not let it be against Donald Cerrone. I love Cowboy but, he would lose that fight. I want to see an exciting fight for his return, like Robbie Lawler or Matt Brown. My final thought is I am still waiting on the UFC to do a tournament. You really have to. I mean because some of your divisions are dying. Heavyweight & Light-Heavyweight really do not have a lot of top guys. With JDS on a decline now, outside of Cain, Werdum, Miocic and Overeem. Who do you have? Same thing at 205. Jones, Cormier, Rumble and Gustaffson. No one else. You have to get people excited about those divisions again, and make an 8 man tournament for a title shot or for the belt itself. Please.

MayPac, TB Buccaneers & More
The Cody is back to bring you another edition of my blog. I have been writing quite often lately, feel like I should keep it up. Huh? I had a lot of people email & tweet me about writing about Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao and all of those who know I am one of the world's biggest Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans, wanted to hear about my thoughts on the draft. I also wanna give a brief rant about former UFC Light-Heavyweight Jon Jones. So, how about we hop to it.
So the "Fight Of The Century" took place last Saturday, and for most people it did not live up to the hype. But that is for those who do NOT understand boxing. This past Saturday, Mayweather put on a masterful performance and showed that he is hands down the greatest boxer of this generation. I told everyone and their momma, that Floyd Mayweather was going to pick Manny Pacquaio apart. I have said it for years, and I was right. Every time Manny tried to unload, he got smacked. Just as I thought it would happen. But, now that Floyd Mayweather has won, people are still hating. "Oh he ran around the ring" or "Oh he hugged him" or "Manny was injured" to ANY ONE who is saying this. You my friend, are an idiot. People who think Floyd ran, AGAIN, do not understand boxing. Floyd Mayweather has excellent footwork, and is the master of defense. He knows how NOT to get hit, and that is what he did to perfection on Saturday. It is Mayweather's technique.
For you MMA fans out there, do we not call Georges St. Pierre one of the greatest fighters in UFC history? Why? 90% of GSP's title defenses, he took the guy down, did VERY LITTLE damage, and won the fight. But we call him one of the greatest ever? Taking people down is his technique, it is his style. In the real world, taking someone down, and holding them down is not fighting. He didn't whoop anyone's ass, but we call him one of the greatest ever. So, if we can call GSP, one of the greatest mixed martial artists of our time, even though he wins majority of his fights by out wrestling his opponent, why do we hate so much on Floyd Mayweather for his technique? His style is more "fighting" than GSP's style. So, explain to me your logic.
Secondly, Manny has shown his true colors, by telling people his shoulder was injured before the fight. I will bet you EVERYTHING I HAVE, that Manny Pacquiao probably either injured his shoulder DURING the fight or he isn't even injured and used that millions of dollars he just earned, to pay someone off to say that he is. Give me a break Pacquaio, you lost to a better fighter, you were outboxed, you were out fought, you were out worked. Get over yourself homie. This is the same dude that says he thinks he won the fight, and Floyd didn't do anything. I bet he fails his pre fight drug test, he had to be high, EVERYONE who thinks Manny won that fight was clearly high.
I chalk it down that people just really hate Floyd Mayweather, and they wanted to see him lose, that they will come up with every excuse possible to discard his win against Manny. Some morons even say that, it doesn't really count unless Mayweather gives him a rematch. What? Haters, will always hate. Also, I want to touch on this briefly, I do NOT want to offend anyone. But, I was absolutely disgusted with all the people out there who made this "Fight Of The Century" more about the domestic violence past of Floyd Mayweather, than the fight itself. Like, what kind of people are you? I NOT ONE TIME heard about this shit when he fought Cotto, Alvarez, Maidana twice. Where was all this BS? Look, hitting women is the most disgusting thing you could ever do in your life, I do not condone it. In fact, if your man hitting a woman, I think you are a pussy. But, if you really are about women's rights, and fighting the abuse against women, then you should of protested EVERY SINGLE Mayweather fight since the allegations came out. NOT just because he is fighting a big name fighter. Michelle Beadle & Rachel Nichols, I laughed my ass off when they couldn't go to the fight. For one, I have a bit of a history with Beadle. I used to heckle her on Twitter for her constant hate of Tim Tebow, the woman is one of the biggest idiots to ever report on television. I get it, people like her because she is not your ordinary reporter, but that is the reason I hate her. She never can take the personal, out of her job. She is so full of herself, that she said she is going to stop watching World Wrestling Entertainment because Triple H cheered on Floyd Mayweather. This fight wasn't about you bitch, no one gave two shits about your opinion, why? Because like I said, you NEVER said anything before when Floyd would fight. I honestly think people came out about this, just to ride their name off of the biggest prize fight of this generation. It is sad.
Okay, this has kind of gone on long enough, so I will try to cut this up a little bit. I am very happy that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted Jameis Winston, I think he is the most NFL ready QB that has come into the draft since Andrew Luck. And I am thankful we got him. I really think he will lead us to our first play off appearance since 2007. We have a mobile, accurate quarterback with big receivers, Jackson, Evans & Jenkins. I also think Kenny Bell was a hell of a steal, that dude can ball. I am excited we got him too. Not to mention, although we didn't get HUGE names on our defense, I think our defense will be able to match up with Carolina's this year. I am super pumped up for this season, and can't wait to see what the future holds for us. My prediction based on our schedule, speaking completely unbiased, I would say we squeak into the wild card spot with a 9-7 season.
I also want to touch on one quick thing, I know everyone was super excited about the fact that we have Lovie Smith as a head coach in Tampa. But, I am starting to wonder a little bit. Think about this, due to his system, we have lost some great players Revis, Barron & Goldson. Now, again due to his system, we didn't pick up Doug Martin's fifth year option. Yes, Doug has not been his rookie self, but I think he has a chance to get back to that form. And it would be a HUGE blow to lose him. I am sorry, I do not think Charles Sims is our answer at RB. The 1-2-3 punch of Martin, Rainey and James was working for me. So, because of Lovie's system, who are we going to lose next? V-Jax? David? All I am saying is that, if this keeps up, we will always get to pick first in the NFL Draft.

Treat Porn Stars, Like You Would Treat Any Other Woman
Hey guys, The Cody here again with yet another blog. Yes, about porn stars. Bite me. I recently posted about Siri, in her effort to with the Hot Movies Tournament. Now, I have something else I would like to blog about.
I recently read an article published by The Daily Beast called "Porn Stars Can Be Sexually Assaulted Too" and I was kind of inspired to write this blog based on what the article said. Basically, the article was about how women in porn get the stereo type label. When they are sexually assaulted, people believe they deserve it or asked for it because they make a living having sex. Also, how some fans things it is okay to grab on them and touch them whenever they want.
I think people who haven't read the article should check it out here http://thebea.st/1HAZ64L It is a very heavy duty article, that speaks the truth. I have been saying this for a long time, I am just a regular fan. I am not a porn star, I am not someone who works behind the scenes so maybe I do not understand the struggle too much. But, I have always said that I think women in the adult industry should be treated better than they do. Just because they make a living in the sex industry, does not mean you can always ask them if they will fuck you.
You should treat them, like you would treat any other woman. And this statement is not for the men out there who think it is okay to use and abuse women, you fools should just go jump off a cliff somewhere. No, this statement is for the men who actually want to have decent relationships and become the luckiest man in the world, by having a woman you love, fall in love with you.
Let me give you an example. My favorite porn stars in the world are Katrina Jade and Karmen Karma, I absolutely think they are the most unbelievably beautiful women God has ever created. Yes, they make their living having sex. However, I see them as much more than porn stars. Too be honest, as cheesy as this sounds. My fantasy, is not to have sex with them, but it is to take them out on a date. I would really love to spend an evening with Katrina Jade and get to know her as a person, find out what makes her tick, ask her to tell the story about how her and her husband met, what's her favorite heavy metal bad. You know, buy her blood red roses, pick her up and just make that beautiful smile shine all night long. Things like that, is what I really would love to do with them....not spend the whole time hoping they will fuck me just because they are porn stars.
I promise you, you are more likely to get an interaction from an adult film star by being respectful too them. Then asking them "Hey, when can we fuck?" or "Hey, you fuck for a living, can you fuck me too?" Most, if not all porn stars, will ignore those messages. Be creative, be original, make them smile. Hell, some of them really like cheesy comments (I am the king of those.)
Also, before I end this blog I really would like to address the Christy Mack situation that took place a few months ago. I never really had a chance to give thoughts on it due to the fact I have been really busy with my new life and just have now recently found free time. But, I am so sickened by what happened to her. I am not going to go into details, because in the off chance she reads this I do not want her to be reminded of anything. But what really is just as appalling as the attack itself, is the fact that some morons say that she deserved it because she is a porn star.
What the fucking fuck? No woman on this planet, deserves that kind of shit. Let alone Christy Mack. Who in the blue green hell, do you people think you are, suggesting someone deserves that just because they work in the sex industry? So, does that mean I should come beat the shit out of you because you make a living out of being an asshole? You going to walk up to a boxer and try to fight him, because they box for a living.....oh hell they take beatings in the ring so it is only natural they take one outside of the ring too. The trolls who think Christy deserved what happened to her, are probably the ones still living in their mother's basement jerking off to World of War Craft and Power Rangers. The only kind of action they get is when they eat Taco Bell, and get the after effects.
I also would like to say, Christ Mack's interview on ESPN.com really truly did inspire me. See, I am a guy who thinks of his self as the ugliest man on the planet (besides Miley Cyrus) because of my history with women. I once had a woman express interest in me, invite me out on a date, I bought her flowers. Got all dressed up. Waited for her, for a few hours before finally getting a hold of her and she said "Did you really think I'd go out with you?" then went on to post something on Facebook saying really harsh and cruel things. Than had 42 (yes 42) comments suggesting I was fat, ugly, disgusting...and one said that I should kill myself for the sake of women every where. I have always looked back in the mirror, disgusted at what I see. And then I read Christy's interview on ESPN and I was inspired. I mean, for her to go through what she did, to have to get surgery and shave her hair. And embrace her new look. If she can do that, so can I. Right? I think she is still one of the most gorgeous women to walk the planet. And maybe one day, I can think of myself as a handsome man even if the world doesn't think so.

My two biggest crushes in the world are porn stars so I can't help but be very defensive of them some times. So, I had to post this blog in response to that article. I have not posted a blog in a very very long time, I have a very busy life, and haven't had time to be on Twitter or really do anything. But, this is a VERY important reason to post another blog after all this time.

The Cody Says 5/1/2014
Hey what's up, long time no see. Well for those who only read this blog and not my Porn blog lol. People were asking about it, so here I am to give the people what they want. Got a few things to talk about and I will answer some non porn related questions at the end of the blog. So let's get to it.
Well, a lot of people surprisingly have been asking me about when I am going to do another Babu video. If you follow me on Twitter, I have been working on a big video for Babu called "Babu Gets A Job" it is kind of a parody of all my job experiences. The script I came up with though would require me to for the first time ever, have other actors. But I don't want random people, it would have to be people I am comfortable acting a fool in front of lol. But since it is taking so long, I have worked on some smaller not as funny scripts but I did my best. The only problem now is that I have to get my camera to work. I used to use a HD video camera, but I can't find a charger to it, so I resorted to just using a plain web cam, which I used for my music video. But now it hasn't been working, but I am working on it. And as soon as I get it working, I will be posting Babu videos as periodically as possible. I won't give away any of the scripts, you will just have to wait and see for yourself. Although I will admit, I did write a script the other night and I think it will be pretty good. I'll explain.
See I follow a girl on twitter, and out of respect for her, I won't give her name or Twitter handle. But she is SOOOOOOO beautiful, her tweets kind of make you scratch your head sometimes, but all in all she is good people. According to her, her boyfriend, and her friend she has an INCREDIBLE "crafted from the God's" ass. Okay, call The Cody a prevert (yes prevert, pervert sounds so wrong) but I want to see this legendary ass they speak of. I don't mean bare, or in panties, maybe in yoga pants or something I don't know lol. Now you can imagine, her boyfriend is not to happy about me wanting to see this but he too is a fan of the Babu videos, so I told her friend to pass on a message. Well in other news, I have been getting some heat lately. See last week, I tweeted that I truly believe the Tampa Bay Rays were going to have a terrible year. They would probably be last or 2nd to last in the AL East. So, I have not watched as many games this year as of yet, as I did last year. See Baseball is different from football. In football, you watch 16 games out of the year, so it is easy when you are a true fan to kind of go out on your shield and watch every game. But with baseball. There is ten times that amount, why sit through 162 games if your team is bombing? Call me a fair weather fan all you want but when the Rays first came around, remember how bad they were. I stuck with them then, and look we finally got to the promise land. But only won one game. And since then if I am not mistaken, we have been knocked out of the wild card round, each and every time we have returned to the playoffs. Eventually it is like, why bother? Soon our best pitcher will be gone, and this year we have already lost our second best pitcher (in my opinion) in Matt Moore. Also, we are without Cobb. And our offense really do not produce runs like they did in past seasons. Evan Longoria is really our only crowned jewel, why he decided to sign an extension with us is beyond me. But I am glad he did. You have to realize, that not a lot of great hitters or pitchers are going to want to sign with us because to most players it is all about money. You think Pujols, Hamilton, Cano, Fielder or any of those great hitters even CONSIDERED signing with us when they were free agents? I highly doubt it. We are not a big market team, we can't always get lucky like we have in the past by finding hidden gems in the draft. That method won't work forever, as you can see. And when you sign guys like Balfour, Escobar, Bell and resign Sean Rodriguez, you're asking to suck. When the Tampa Bay Rays become the Orlando Rays, then maybe we can get somewhere and sign big talent and one day, maybe one day we can finally capture that first World Series title. I am a huge Rays fan, I really am, I have followed them forever. But I am speaking as a realist and a sports fan, The Rays will not win a title for a very very long time.
My final topic, is about Keyboard Warriors. Guys that for no reason and all, talk shit to celebrities or other people on Twitter for no reason. For example, when people tweet an opinion and then some Keyboard Warrior berates them for their opinion. Someone I follow on Twitter was very vocal over her hatred of UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, she didn't tweet anybody she was just tweeting. And some random loser decides to berate her for that opinion. Saying "You're mad because Jon Jones wouldn't fuck you" People who just randomly do that, obviously have no life. I have a rule, if you wouldn't say it to their face, don't say it to them over the internet, it just shows that you are a giant pussy. Anything I have ever said to anyone, I would say to their face. I am The Cody, you know me, I will tell you how it is no matter the consequence. George Lopez tweeted a picture that insinuated that Mexicans are hard workers and White people are lazy, I took high offense to this. I hate when racism is tweeted for me to see. I could of told George off, told him what I think of his opinion, but it is his Twitter, he has every right to tweet what he wants. So, I just unfollowed him. Simple as that. Why the take the time out of your day to call someone a faggot because they like the Tampa Bay Bucs (just an example). Listen, if people do this to you, just remember The Cody says this.....those guys are probably just a bunch of lonely pathetic monkey balls suckers that masturbate to anime porn in their mom's basement while dreaming of fucking the Pink Power Ranger and falling in love with female World of Warcraft characters. Yes. It is inevitable, the whole "fan vote" last week will be the catalyst to his heel turn. He has been a face since late 2003, I think Rob Van Dam is the only other superstar who has been a face that long. But he has been a gone a lot. So, I think a Cena turn is warranted. Also, I believe that they want a Austin/Rock type feud between him and Daniel Bryan, and there is no way Cena could stay face through a rivalry with Bryan. So, yes he will turn some time this year.
2. Have you ever considered being a sports writer?
Yes, however I do not believe that any one is looking for a uncensored opinion on the Sports world for their columns. I would never write something that I didn't believe. Like, Seattle may of won the Super Bowl but I do not believe they were the best team that year. And a lot of things played into their favor in that game, but see I wouldn't be aloud to say that for like ESPN or someone, I would have to write what they think and not what I think. I could never do that.
3. If you created a movie about your life what would you call it, what would be some of the key scenes in the movie and who would you cast as you?

The Cody Says: Sex Edition
Hey guys, The Cody back with another blog. Do you like sex, do you like talking about sex? Well then check out this blog. The Cody Says - All Sports Edition
Yes The Cody is back with yet another blog. This is a very special edition, an all sports edition so besides the Q&A at the end, there will be no porn or girlfriend rant this edition lol. Let's skip the introduction and let's get to it.
Tampa Bay Rays:
I am a huge Rays fan, but this off season kind of has me scratching my head. I am glad that we have David Price for another year, but Grant Balfour? Jose Molina? Sean Rodriguez? What in the bloody blue hell. Rodriguez is a guy that I have wanted to see gone since we got him, sure his infield ability is not bad but he is atrocious on the offensive end, so why we gave him a one year contract, I have no idea. Let him go. Jose Molina, same thing. You know how you win a game? SCORE. You really think Molina & Rodriguez are gonna score you a lot of runs. Hell, let me play then if your just handing out contracts bro. Grant Balfour, I can not hate on him too much because he did fairly well in Oakland. But, when he was with the Rays, there was a lot of times his one dimensional pitching cost us games. Why we resigned him, I am like bro, my grandpa has an arm on him too if you are up to signing old men. I do like that we resigned James Loney, I thought Loney would blow town after the season but I am glad we still have him. Now, as a true Rays fan, I am saying WORLD SERIES BABY! But realistically speaking, Rays may make the Wild Card again but that is it. As shown last season, hanging with a tough team for 5 games is not something we can do with the roster we have. Our power is pitching, it is what got us to the World Series before, it is what we still rely on. But at some point we have to start spending money to get a few big bats. But in the St. Pete market, that is not likely to happen. I have said this FOREVER we need to find a billionaire and move to another CENTRAL Florida market. When spread that they may move to Orlando, I was excited that is my hometown. the Magic suck, so I would love to have a good professional Orlando team. If we moved to the Orlando market and got a owner with money to spend, that is when we can pay big bats and that is when we will be the most dangerous. Then we will have the pitching and the bats. A true winning equation for baseball. I will ALWAYS believe in my team, but as a guy who dreams of being a sports analyst one day, realistically we need to get a better market to get better players. Our luck finding unknown great talent like Evan Longoria, Matt Joyce, Bj Upton, Carl Crawford and Carlos Pena will not keep up, forever.

Well if there is one team that I have a lot to talk about, it will always be the Bucs. And there is a lot to talk about, the signing of a Lovie Smith, the unveiling of the new helmets, the inducting to the Hall of Fame of another former Buccaneer, Derrick Brooks. I was requested to kind of give a sketch on what I think the new helmets would look like, well I can not draw but I can describe it the best that I can. Too be honest, I think the most they will do to the logo is maybe add the ship with the flag, perhaps. Or kind of have a newer pirate similar to the one on the old logo but just different. Hell maybe they will use Jack Sparrow's face lol. But I just think they are going to involve the ship and that is pretty much it. As far as the helmet goes, I am kind of thinking maybe they will make the helmet red....but then I was like, that would look stupid. So I thought maybe black but there are so many black helmets in the NFL. So, I think they are probably going to be white like the old days. I don't like the idea but I think that is what they are going with, if they are changing the helmets that is the only thing that would make sense, what are you going to do, make like Oregon and make it a mirror titanium or something lol. In other news, we signed a great coach in Lovie Smith, I think Lovie will be the key to getting good players in the free agent market because Lovie is a player's coach and players like to play for a coach like that. I think we could easily sign Micheal Vick if we do not draft a QB (If Bortles & Manziel are gone we wont take one, at least we better not) which I do not think we could of signed Vick if we still had Schiano. I know, every Bucs fan is like why in the world would we want to sign Vick, shut up, I am a Vick fan and any body is better than Glennon. I also think we could resign guys like McCoy & M. Williams who's rookie contracts are coming to an end. People think a head coach is overrated in the pro level. Ha! Okay, so then you tell me how New England always makes it to the playoffs with average players at best. It takes more than an elite QB to make a team good. Belechick is a main reason behind that team's success. They have not had a good defense in years, and they did not have Gronkowski, Hernandez or Welker. They had average players with an aging QB and still made it to the playoffs, that is the result of good coaching and strategy. Lovie Smith, is our best chance (coaching wise) to make it to the Super Bowl. Like I said, he is a players coach, players will want to play for him instead of give up much like they did last season. Oh shut up, you know players just quit after they started getting demolished come on. But the most important thing is we need to get a Quarterback, period. NOT Glennon, Glennon is career back up at best, we need either someone from the draft like Manziel or Bortles. Or we need a established veteran like Michael Vick, end of story. Keep in mind, the last time we were in the playoffs we had an older, mobile, Quarterback in Jeff Garcia. And Jeff Garcia, came from the Philadelphia Eagles before his stint with Tampa. Hmmm....maybe signing Micheal Vick would be an omen for a playoff appearance. Who knows.
WWE:
I had a Wrestlemania 30 rant in my last edition. But I want to speak more on that, well because I have nothing else to talk about when it comes to the WWE lol. I was hoping maybe it was a ruse, but it looks like CM Punk really has quit the WWE. Which really hurts the WWE, because like I have stated before, their roster as far as established stars is the shortest I think it has ever been. Especially, since they are not smart enough to give a bigger push to guys with the talent TO Main Event. Cody Rhodes is a prime example, Rhodes should be in the Elimination Chamber NOT Christian. This seems to happen a lot to the wrestlers who spend most of their WWE career as a heel and then turn face, they fall off the map. MVP & John Morrison are two guys that fall into that category and it looks like Cody Rhodes will soon be there too. Dolph Ziggler as well, when he was a heel, he won the Heavyweight championship. Since then, I think he has had ONE Pay Per View match. Do not quote me, I could be wrong. I just do not like the product that WWE has become. I said this once, and I will say it again. If WWE continues down this path, they will end up just like WCW. Like I stated in my Wrestlemania 30 rant, Wrestlemania 30 is supposed to be the BIGGEST Wrestlemania to date and it looks like it has the potential to be a big flop. Losing CM Punk, you lose a good match up between him and Triple H, that I did want to see. But you have to realize that Batista is NOT who the fans want to see main eventing mania. HOWEVER, I am starting to sense that due to CM Punk leaving they have changed up their plan a little bit. I think Daniel Bryan will win the Chamber this Sunday, but Randy Orton will find his way into the match up and it will be a triple threat. I MUCH rather of it been Orton, Bryan and Cena or Orton, Bryan and Punk. But a triple threat is better than a one on one match between Batista & Orton or Bryan. I am also hoping that they change this whole Wyatt vs Cena thing too. I think John Cena should be facing Undertaker. You HAVE to have your biggest star challenge the streak before Undertaker retires for good. It is just not "good for business" to leave Cena out of that mix. The Wyatts vs The Shield is an amazing match up to put together but it is at the wrong Pay Per View. It should of been at Wrestlemania, but I still think they are going to use Wrestlemania to begin the push of Roman Reigns. I am predicting Shield lose to Wyatts and the falling out between The Shield really begins. I am wondering if it will just be Roman vs Ambrose for the US title or will it be triple threat between all three Shield mates. Because it seems like Ambrose & Reigns are going at it, and Rollins is just kind of in the rear view. I dont know what happen to WWE, but I hope it rectifies itself soon. Wrestlemania 30, I think will speak volumes. Trust The Cody on this, if you want to rectify yourself WWE here is what you do. Find a way to get CM Punk back, I would say, hey look we want you to wrestle Triple H but we will give you a title run soon after Wrestlemania or something like that. Second, have Bryan win the Chamber. Keep Daniel Bryan out of the Main Event of Wrestlemania just is not smart, he should of been in and won the Royal Rumble. Period. The Chamber is your chance to change that wrong. Make the battle for the WWE World Title a Triple Threat or Fatal 4 Way at Wrestlemania. This is Wrestlemania 30, 10 years ago the main event was a Triple Threat match and will go down as one of the greatest matches of all time, relive that moment. Bryan, Batista, Orton, Cena, Lesnar Make a 4 way or Triple Threat using those 5 guys. If you don't use Cena for the Title match, put him up against Undertaker. Cena is the face of the WWE hands down, you can not leave him out of the most notorious streak in the company and leave him out of the match that every one looks forward to every Wrestlemania. It does not have to be exactly all that but that is a good line to start on.

There is a lot of talk about the UFC lately, and not about the fights and I thought I would throw my hat into this conversation. Tito Ortiz was the very first (that I know of) that I spoke out about how UFC treated their fighters. But he was the Huntington Beach Bad Boy who ducked Chuck Liddell forever, and did nothing but complain (that was everyone else's view on him, not mine) so people paid no attention. The next big name to speak out was Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, again no really paid attention. But now, more and more fighters are speaking out about it. The latest was Nate "Rock" Quarry. Now unlike Tito & Rampage, Nate comes off as a very respectable individual, very humble and stand up. Why would he say something that was not true about the UFC, what would he have to gain, and even if he did have something to gain, he doesn't seem the type who would do that. So now your ears kind of perk up, and you're like okay then. Something isn't right, and if you have seen the interview, first posted on BJ Penn dot com, what he says really makes the UFC look real bad. Now I trained in MMA for a while, so I kind of know how the sponsor thing works. Sponsors pay you money to wear their logo on your shirts and shorts, and if you have time, thank them after fights. What you make with your sponsors and your fighter's pay for fighting, a slice of that goes to your trainers, your gym and so on and so forth. So in reality, if you make $10,000 to fight, in reality only $5,000 of that goes to you. Maybe less depending. I am not 100% accurate on that maybe but that is the just of it. According to Nate, the UFC has who ever sponsors you pay them a HEFTY fee to sponsor you, other wise you won't be able to wear their logo to your fight with the UFC, and the sponor has to be approved. There was more said but go read the interview to get the whole story. Now, I am a UFC fan. I will always watch the UFC no matter what. So of course I am going to go watch him fight else where, where ever he is fighting I am tuning in to watch. Now, I have not always been a Tito fan but ever since the Ultimate Fighter 3, I have been. I respect Tito a lot, and now I am starting to realize that what he has been saying about Dana White all along, is not some hatred toward him, it is the truth. Rampage has said it, Ken Shamrock has said it and now Nate Quarry has said it. Now, I have backed Dana for a while, however ever since the GSP debacle, I kind of realized that he is more of a dictator than a UFC promoter. GSP needed time off, he was asking for time off from the sport, and Dana White was belittling him and attacking him and saying oh no no, you are going to fight Hendricks again. And I realized then, Dana don't give a shit about his fighters, he wants to put that bread in his pocket and move on. If all of this is really true, more and more of your top fighters are going to start fighting for Bellator, Melendez made the jump, Rampage made the jump, Eddie Alvarez won't leave. Bellator may just become a serious threat, it is just a matter of a time.
Tampa Bay Rays:
I am a huge Rays fan, but this off season kind of has me scratching my head. I am glad that we have David Price for another year, but Grant Balfour? Jose Molina? Sean Rodriguez? What in the bloody blue hell. Rodriguez is a guy that I have wanted to see gone since we got him, sure his infield ability is not bad but he is atrocious on the offensive end, so why we gave him a one year contract, I have no idea. Let him go. Jose Molina, same thing. You know how you win a game? SCORE. You really think Molina & Rodriguez are gonna score you a lot of runs. Hell, let me play then if your just handing out contracts bro. Grant Balfour, I can not hate on him too much because he did fairly well in Oakland. But, when he was with the Rays, there was a lot of times his one dimensional pitching cost us games. Why we resigned him, I am like bro, my grandpa has an arm on him too if you are up to signing old men. I do like that we resigned James Loney, I thought Loney would blow town after the season but I am glad we still have him. Now, as a true Rays fan, I am saying WORLD SERIES BABY! But realistically speaking, Rays may make the Wild Card again but that is it. As shown last season, hanging with a tough team for 5 games is not something we can do with the roster we have. Our power is pitching, it is what got us to the World Series before, it is what we still rely on. But at some point we have to start spending money to get a few big bats. But in the St. Pete market, that is not likely to happen. I have said this FOREVER we need to find a billionaire and move to another CENTRAL Florida market. When spread that they may move to Orlando, I was excited that is my hometown. the Magic suck, so I would love to have a good professional Orlando team. If we moved to the Orlando market and got a owner with money to spend, that is when we can pay big bats and that is when we will be the most dangerous. Then we will have the pitching and the bats. A true winning equation for baseball. I will ALWAYS believe in my team, but as a guy who dreams of being a sports analyst one day, realistically we need to get a better market to get better players. Our luck finding unknown great talent like Evan Longoria, Matt Joyce, Bj Upton, Carl Crawford and Carlos Pena will not keep up, forever.
Tampa Bay Bucs:
Well if there is one team that I have a lot to talk about, it will always be the Bucs. And there is a lot to talk about, the signing of a Lovie Smith, the unveiling of the new helmets, the inducting to the Hall of Fame of another former Buccaneer, Derrick Brooks. I was requested to kind of give a sketch on what I think the new helmets would look like, well I can not draw but I can describe it the best that I can. Too be honest, I think the most they will do to the logo is maybe add the ship with the flag, perhaps. Or kind of have a newer pirate similar to the one on the old logo but just different. Hell maybe they will use Jack Sparrow's face lol. But I just think they are going to involve the ship and that is pretty much it. As far as the helmet goes, I am kind of thinking maybe they will make the helmet red....but then I was like, that would look stupid. So I thought maybe black but there are so many black helmets in the NFL. So, I think they are probably going to be white like the old days. I don't like the idea but I think that is what they are going with, if they are changing the helmets that is the only thing that would make sense, what are you going to do, make like Oregon and make it a mirror titanium or something lol. In other news, we signed a great coach in Lovie Smith, I think Lovie will be the key to getting good players in the free agent market because Lovie is a player's coach and players like to play for a coach like that. I think we could easily sign Micheal Vick if we do not draft a QB (If Bortles & Manziel are gone we wont take one, at least we better not) which I do not think we could of signed Vick if we still had Schiano. I know, every Bucs fan is like why in the world would we want to sign Vick, shut up, I am a Vick fan and any body is better than Glennon. I also think we could resign guys like McCoy & M. Williams who's rookie contracts are coming to an end. People think a head coach is overrated in the pro level. Ha! Okay, so then you tell me how New England always makes it to the playoffs with average players at best. It takes more than an elite QB to make a team good. Belechick is a main reason behind that team's success. They have not had a good defense in years, and they did not have Gronkowski, Hernandez or Welker. They had average players with an aging QB and still made it to the playoffs, that is the result of good coaching and strategy. Lovie Smith, is our best chance (coaching wise) to make it to the Super Bowl. Like I said, he is a players coach, players will want to play for him instead of give up much like they did last season. Oh shut up, you know players just quit after they started getting demolished come on. But the most important thing is we need to get a Quarterback, period. NOT Glennon, Glennon is career back up at best, we need either someone from the draft like Manziel or Bortles. Or we need a established veteran like Michael Vick, end of story. Keep in mind, the last time we were in the playoffs we had an older, mobile, Quarterback in Jeff Garcia. And Jeff Garcia, came from the Philadelphia Eagles before his stint with Tampa. Hmmm....maybe signing Micheal Vick would be an omen for a playoff appearance. Who knows.
WWE:

MVP & John Morrison are two guys that fall into that category and it looks like Cody Rhodes will soon be there too. Dolph Ziggler as well, when he was a heel, he won the Heavyweight championship. Since then, I think he has had ONE Pay Per View match. Do not quote me, I could be wrong. I just do not like the product that WWE has become. I said this once, and I will say it again. If WWE continues down this path, they will end up just like WCW.
